Some four LIFE funded projects are teaming up to market their demostrative achievements in regard the thematic priority identified by EU Green Week 2021. This year Zero Pollution is the pattern to confront the series of activities and results of our five running LIFE Projects.
The main goal of this virtual workshop is to present how Life funded nature-based solutions and sustainable agro-practices may positively impact in the quality of air/water in territorial collectivities in Europe (ie. Municipalities and regions)
This theme links with a range of issues, such as public empowerment, adaptation to CC, climatic ecosystems, biodiversity … amongst others.
More precisely, the four running LIFE Projects marketed today are axed in three relevant prioirities: how Zero pollution and the improvement of quality of air/wáter is enabled through:
- Public administrations/ collectivities at regional-local level
- Science actors promoting and testing solutions (indoor and outdoor)
- Particular agricultural disciplines targetted.
The LIFE programme as a European instrument directly contributes to financing projects that have the capacity to implement Nature-Based Solutions, Public Authorities Resilience and Sustainable Agricultural Practices that directly and indirectly contributes to reducing air, water and soil pollution in all regions and municipalities of Europe.
To communicate these achievements, the four LIFE funded project have organised a virtual workshop as Partner event of #EUGreenWeek2021 to be held the next Tuesday 11h May from 11:00h (CET).
